A 30 hour Children In Permaculture Practioners course will be taking place online starting from October 2020. This in depth course which will give participants a toolbox of ways to engage children in permaculture using a holistic, creative approach which involves children in the whole process as a partner in their learning. It is for people who have attended the CiP two day training course as well as the 14 day Permaculture Designers Course.

Time: 15.30-19.30 UK time.
This course will give you the skills and support you need to design with and for children.
If you have completed the Introduction to Engaging Children in Permaculture course, you will understand how important it is to embed this into children’s learning environments. This course will equip you with the skills to take you to create two Diploma level designs, with and for children – a session plan and a garden.
The participants can become a Children In Permaculture (CIP) Practioner after completing the portfolio. It is also a prerquisite to the next stage of becoming a CIP trainer.

Lusi Alderslowe (Scotland)
Lusi Alderslowe is co-founder and coordinator of the Children in Permaculture project for the Permaculture Association and Gatehouse School. A Forest School Leader, Human Ecologist (MSc) and Permaculture practitioner and teacher, Lusi has been engaging children in permaculture for 12 years in many places including an outdoor playgroup, a Children’s Garden, after-school groups, and in nurseries and schools across Scotland. Lusi has been teaching permaculture to adults since 2010, in many Permaculture Design Courses, and as a Diploma Tutor.
